I’m Jake Lewis, class of 2009 at Bates College. I hail from Katonah, New York, very near NYC. I’m an Interdisciplinary Studies major, combining Asian Studies, Environmental Studies, and Philosophy into my academic work. I do a lot of theater, both at Bates and outside of the school. I’m the Artistic Director of the Robinson Players, the student-run theater troupe here. I’m also the president of the Bates College Deansmen, one of the all-male a cappella groups on campus.
That’s me in a tree. Hiking and tree-climbing are pretty excellent, although I somewhat prefer body-boarding and surfing, both in summer and winter. I have difficulty imagining a winter without snowboarding. Or snow forts, for that matter.
